Harry Wickey was an artist represented at the Weyhe Gallery. His letters include information about his new prints, sales and exhibitions, problems with his eyes that have directed him away from etching, an 11 page biography from 1938, detailed lists of his prints, his animal sculptures, sales to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, information about Wickey's autobiography, Thus Far (1941), the American Artists Group, and teaching at Bucknell. There is also a group of letters of appreciation for Wickey's work written by several artist, clippings and a photograph of Wickey.

In response to the hardships suffered by American artists during the Depression, the American Artists Group was formed in 1936 by Samuel Golden and Carl Zigrosser. They hoped to sell original prints by known artists made in unlimited runs, and sell them by mail at unusually low prices.
